Reason Why You Should Stop Masturbation As A MAN

The Act of "Self-Sevicing" or Masturbation as it is known as, has been on a steady increase among the masculine gender according to reports gathered from a recent survey.

However, most men who indulge in the act of "Self-Servicing" do not know that they keep putting themselves at great risk each time they begin to pleasure themselves. Over stimulation of the p3nis can lead to persistent softness of an erection, while the disappearance of a morning erection can signify a hormonal imbalance.
Most causes of weak erections  vary, from poor blood circulation to anxiety issues, but for men who  mast_rbate excessively, the weakness can occur because of a hormonal imbalance.  Let's take a much closer look at why you should quit mast_rbating as a man;

Hormonal Reserve
SEX is likened to a battery. The more you use it, the faster you lose it. An erection occurs because of a healthy dosage of hormones and neurotransmitters. The urge for sex starts with testosterone. But men who ejaculate often lose testosterone faster than their bodies can replenish it. With little testosterone, erections become weaker.
Meanwhile, Dopamine must be released to stimulate the pe_nis, while Oxyacetylene must be present to keep the “excitement” level high. Nitrite-oxide, a signaling chemical, must also appear in order to provide the proper signaling between the brain and the pe_nis for a healthy ere_ction. Excessive mas_turbation depletes all of these neurochemicals.
Lowered Dopamine requires more stimulation to stay “Hard”, while decreased Acetylcholine levels ruin the flow of blood to maintain an erection. Depleted Nitric-oxide levels lead to a decrease in communication between the brain and penis.

Regaining the Proper Hormones
For hormones to return to their normal state, men must refrain from mas_turbating as often as possible. The individual who has grown addicted to the activity may have trouble quitting. Still, an individual should aim to quit gradually. Next, taking hormonal supplements can help stabilize testosterone and neurotransmitter production for a healthy erection.

If you suffer from weak erections, take Botanical Solutions for Erectile Dysfunction to help stabilize your production of Nitric-oxide and to increase the elasticity of blood vessels for improved erection quality.

Home Father Mbaka Latest News Nigeria News President Buhari Religion MUST READ! Angry Fr Mbaka Drops Another Message To President Buhari....You'll Be Shocked At What He Said MUST READ! Angry Fr Mbaka Drops Another Message To President Buhari....You'll Be Shocked At What He Said

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the fiery Enugu cleric has come out hard on President Muhammadu Buhari accusing him of inflicting pains, suffering, and massive deaths on Nigerians. Fr. Mbaka, the director Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria, AMEN, had before the 2015 general election predicted that former President Jonathan would be roundly defeated in the polls. He had in the message entitled “From Goodluck to Badluck”, accused Jonathan of running the economy aground. Soon after Buhari was sworn-in as President, Mbaka visited him at the Presidential villa where they met behind closed doors. He had also in another message while President Buhari was away on medical trip, stated that some persons were blocking him from having access to the President.
However, in one of his latest messages released to his congregation, the Roman Catholic priest maintained that with the way things were going, Buhari would be rejected by Nigerians in 2019. He slammed the President for occupying himself with trivial issues like the emergency of Bukola Saraki and Ike Ekweremadu as the Senate President and the Deputy respectively, while the country was on fire. The full message below: “The issue is that Mbaka is speaking as the Spirit leads him; there is hunger everywhere; my job is to tell leaders the truth, the landlords are crying, the tenants are lamenting, sellers are crying, buyers are lamenting; there is hunger on the streets (onye obuna na ajazi eze) people are talking harshly, there is a channel called Aljazera, (ndi an aja-eze), many students are being rusticated out of school because they cannot pay school fees; the fees are being hiked. Proprietors are distressed, many companies are winding up; the economy is relaxed, Nigeria is being attacked ferociously and you are the citizens as well as the members of the church. “So, when you are being attacked, the church is being attacked, that’s why I can’t keep quiet when things are going wrong. I am telling the President to look around him and know those who are advising him rightly and those who are telling him that there is no trouble; the President should know that there is trouble; if things continue like this, in the next election, nobody will vote for him. “Whether they like it or not, I am giving the raw truth; if the President should have somebody like me and he cannot be talking with me, then there is a problem; there is a problem somewhere; somebody who can advise you without asking for anything and he is representing the poor masses in the country and he won’t tell you lies; he will praise you when you are doing well and when you are not doing well, he will look at you in the face and tell you. “I don’t need the President; I need God, I need the Holy Spirit, I need Jesus; there is suffering everywhere, people are suffering. To feed is now a problem, and a hungry man is an angry man. Hunger and anger will lead to danger. “So, let him know whether he can do away with some advisers around him and bring in the people who are experts in economic revamp; there are people who are experts in that; let them begin to empower people, people are not empowered, they are still walking around in vicious circles, planning and planning and planning. Go to mortuaries, go to mortuaries, there are no spaces. I repeat, myself went to Annunciation Hospital the other time to see my brother, coming in, there was no space, the whole mortuary was filled up and they told me it is the same thing in the Eastern Medical Centre and that if I go to UNTH, there is no space, the death rate is high. “People are living in hope and in hope; the adorers are hoping that things will be well; I’m calming the situation, when you tell somebody same thing everyday, when will things be well, when the person is in the grave? Hunger everywhere, many neighbours don’t eat again, many are being attacked by hunger, hunger is becoming a normal thing and there are people responsible for this; mortuary and ambulance business is now the thriving it; many cannot afford drugs; they can’t pay and many are using it to rob the poor by opening satanic centres to dupe the poor and they will be giving people fake prophecies, many terrible things are happening in these centres in the name of churches; these are robbers; people will tell you lies to take money from you. These are robbers, these are hooligans who are at work in today’s Nigeria, many are becoming hawkers, who will buy from you, with what? Even those selling palm oil are adulterating it, even rice, wahala, even tomatoes, because of the price, people put preservatives and sell poison to people, I don’t know whether some people now embalm tomatoes, what is happening? Things are hard, even to change clothes, everyday more pipes are being blown, the Avengers are at work and up till now, there is no solution. You know when certain things begin to happen, you begin to ask some questions, somebody like me will begin to ask – when will this end (nke a kabu ututu), this is still good morning of it. “If it continues the next three months, there will be no money to pay salaries; the vicious effect is disastrous and when salaries cannot be paid, teachers will come home, students will stop going to school, there will be more kidnapping, more hooliganism, more armed robbery, more prostitution, immorality will be on the hike, so, the President should sit up, there is a red light blinking on the country, the issue of Saraki and Ekweremadu, nobody wants to listen to such stories any more, whether Saraki is the President of the Senate or Ekweremadu is not this or that, the countrymen are tired of such stories. “We need economic experts, gurus, sages that are sincere, who can come in and think about our economic revamp and judicial reformation. How can a case be in court for more than 10 years? Even if you prosecute all the senators, the matter may linger till the next 20 years; so what purpose have you achieved? All these noise, EFCC arrested this and that, after one week, that one is over; people are dying of hunger; dollar is growing everyday and Naira is falling; Euro is rising everyday and Naira is collapsing everyday; pound is on the hike everyday, on a mega level and Naira is dwindling on a higher level, before you know it, people will begin to lose hope and it will affect their faith in God, because they will begin to lose faith and ask God where are you? That is where it affects me because it affects the faith of the people. The Bible says if the foundation is destroyed, what can the just do? The Bible says the just man shall live by faith, that is my simple logic, when shall this end? “These Avengers phenomenon, I did something that if the leaders of today are wise, the problem could have been averted. By the gift of the Holy Spirit, His sagacity, I was proactive; that time they have not started bombing; I made a lot of effort; I won’t tell you what I spent so that the President will not suffer what he is about to suffer. Like I told you, this is just the good morning of it, very soon, people who are quiet will begin to talk, when somebody like me will bring my cheque and all the money I have in my account will finish in school fees, hospital bills, is it were well with these peole will they be coming to me. I am receiving the pain and shock drastically. “The quantum of charity we are doing in the ministry is telling the level of poverty that is in the atmosphere. To eat is now a problem, people no longer say give us these days our daily bread but give us this day our daily bread, man must eat to survive, people are not even talking about jobs any more, graduates are everywhere, those who are making now are those who are selling dollars.” Source:http://www.queendoosh.com/

The 4 reasons why pregnant women need to have sex almost daily

Every woman looks forward to conceiving her own child, they say the gift of motherhood is the greatest joy any woman can ever feel. While some women view pregnancy as a burden they must carry, others view the changes that occur in their bodies with awe. Pregnancy is not so easy, while carrying a child for nine months can be stressful, there are several perks attached that can help relieve the stress. You must have heard that s.ex during pregnancy should be avoided, bla, bla, bla, truth is s.ex during pregnancy might just be the best s.ex you will ever have, which helps to strengthen the muscles she needs for labour and after delivery. 1. Lowers Blood Pressure S.ex during pregnancy helps to lower blood pressure. Oxytocin, also known as the love hormone released during sex is a good stress reliever. All the built up tension will simply go away and this keeps your blood pressure at a healthy level. S.ex makes the woman feel calmer and lowers the risk of heart attack. 2. Enables Sound Sleep During pregnancy, women often experience all kinds of discomfort, from back pain to frequent urination, sleeping hours just gets shorter as the fetus grows in the womb. S.ex during pregnancy is a good way of getting sound sleep because the woman feels more relaxed after having an orgasm. 3. Increases Intimacy. The bond between husband and wife remains unbroken when they both have s.ex during pregnancy. Some live with the myth that women are very abrasive during this period, so they should be avoided.Truth is during pregnancy, the release of oxytocin which is also referred to as the bonding hormone boosts emotional attachment and makes pregnant women more sympathetic, supportive and trusting. Both partners get closer to each other and this definitely helps their love life. 4. Reduces Pain Certain hormones like prolactin, oestrogenand progesterone, which increase blood flow to the pelvic area, including the vagina, increasing lubrication and sensitivity. The increased blood flow to the Vagina can help reduce painful intercourse. Se.x during pregnancy will also help ripen the floor of the cervix and this can reduce the pain of delivery. Edo 2016: A question of finishing ‘strong’

The word “strong” in the body of a piece written by a certain Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s social media activist, lauding the governor’s achievements tickled my curiousity. One is literally eviscerated when words are abused to achieve determined dubious ends, having been in the voyage of literary/words structuring for nearly two decades. The dubiety inherent in the word ‘strong’ in the context where it was used is nothing other than reducing our cherished democratic struggle as a people and nation to something profane.
There is no gainsaying the fact that Governor Oshiomhole made minimal dents on the governance of the state, namely: reconstruction of roads, renovation of schools (red roof) and the building of a single hospital that many referred to as a whited sepulcher! If a few reconstructed roads and schools and hospital are all we can get in eight years of Oshiomhole’s over dramatised administration(let’s add the regular payment of less than 5,000 state’s civil servants workforce), then finishing ‘strong’, which connotes potency, effectiveness, authority, resourcefulness, firmness, solid, stable, fortress, uncompromising, fervent, thoroughness, vivid was lavishly and wrongly used. Talking about thoroughness and fairness, shall we say Governor Oshiomhole has demonstrated leadership in those areas in terms of political appointments and infrastructural allocations? How about job creation, award of bursary to students and student’s scholarship? What happened to the promised rejuvenation of state-owned existing industries like Bendel Brewery, Edo Line Transport Limited and the Fruit Processing Company in Eho and many more? Shall we regale ourselves with the failed retreat being the chief anchor of a faded slogan called One-Man-One-Vote?!
The majesty of democracy is inherent in its pluralism: accountability, openness and equitable patronages of political positions across the various interest groups. But that cannot be said of Governor Oshiomhole’s nearly eight years in the saddle. Against all logic, merit and fairness, Governor Oshiomhole as the visitor to the two state-owned institutions: Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma and Edo University, Iyamho appointed Prof. Ignatius Onimawo and Prof. Emmanuel Aluyor from Etsako, respectively. If the appointments of Prof Onimawo and Prof Aluyor came as a surprise to Edo People and to those from other parts of Edo North who are eminently qualified for the job, the appointments of Dr. Mustapha Lekki and Mr. Pius Akpaibo as the INEC South-South Commissioner and Federal Revenue Mobilisation Chairman simply rattled them, as both of them are from Etsako.
What with Governor Oshiomhole’s selection of Hon. Philip Shuaibu as Deputy Governor on the APC’s ticket, an Etsako man like himself from the same ward and local government? Ditto Senator Francis Elamikhena from the same Etsako as Governor Oshiomhole. To make the matter worse, all the Etsako people in his government who constitute more than 60% of the state’s political appointees (just three local government) are reportedly receiving what they called Iyamho (double) salaries different from what every other political appointees take home. The Fundamental Objectives and Directive Principles of State Policy in section 14 subsection 4 of the Nigeria Constitution is against concentration of political appointments or elected political office holders in a given space to the detriment of other parts of the state thus: “The composition of the Government of a State, a local government council, or any of the agencies of such Government or council, and the conduct of the affairs of the Government or council or such agencies shall be carried out in such manner as to recognise the diversity of the people within its area of authority and the need to promote a sense of belonging and loyalty among all the people of the State/Federation”. Subsection 2 and 3 states: “Accordingly, national integration shall be actively encouraged, whilst discrimination on the grounds of place of origin, sex, religion, status, ethnic or linguistic association or ties shall be prohibited. For the purpose of promoting national (state) integration, it shall be the duty of the State government”. In the eye of the Nigeria’s Constitution, Governor Oshiomhole is not merely an ethnic potentate, but a dictator who prides himself as an emperor who conquered the same institution and people that brought him to power. It all began during the 2013 local government election with each subsequent manipulation becoming progressively easier. With less than 130 days to the end of his administration, the Governor grudgingly gave 10% mobilisation fee to two contractors for the flagging off of two political roads in Ekpoma and Okpuje, Esan Central and Owan West, respectively. This was done after he had fixed more than 30 roads in the three local government areas in Etsako land, leaving Esan land: Owan East, Owan West and Akoko-Edo to wallow in economic degradation. How do we discuss Governor Oshiomhole’s job creation fiasco without mentioning the over 20,000 Edo youths (Edo YES Empowerment scam) who were sacked after being casualized for nearly three years? How do we describe the anguish of Egor, Orionmwon, Owan East and West local governments whose workers haven’t received any alert in their bank accounts in the last 18, eight, seven and five months, respectively? Governor Oshiomhole’s earlier momentum has faded, instead of ‘finishing strong’. His determination to turn Edo into a cluster of hit parades suggests to Edo people that it wouldn’t take much, now, to push him over the edge. Erasmus Ikhide, a social Activist wrote from Lagos. Nigerian student marries, graduates same day

A Nigerian Birmingham City University student has married and graduated, with a first-class degree, on the same day. Anu Yusuf, aged 26, received her Law LLB in a ceremony at Symphony Hall alongside hundreds of her fellow students on Wednesday 27 July, wearing a traditional cap and gown. However, merely hours before, Nigeria-born Anu was dressed all in white, as she tied the knot at Birmingham Register Office.
Wedding – Anu Yusuf and Joseph Kolawole Ola marry at Birmingham Register Office Wedding – Anu Yusuf and Joseph Kolawole Ola marry at Birmingham Register Office Anu and her now husband – Joseph Kolawole Ola, aged 27 – met four years ago in Gombe while working as part of Nigeria’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), and their subsequent engagement was prolonged as a result of her coming to study in the UK. She said: “My husband often joked that he would whisk me away after my graduation to marry me because he can no longer wait. So, we decided to marry on my actual graduation day! “Romance aside, it certainly worked well logistically too, as it meant that our relatives only had to travel once for both occasions. We both have family all over the UK and we were conscious of taking up too much of their time and for all the added expense in making the same journey twice.” Anu and Joseph’s wedding started at 10.40am with a civil ceremony at Birmingham Register Office. Following the official wedding photography, the entire party headed for a midday blessing at Anu’s church, VBCI Treasure Sanctuary, located at Perry Barr Methodist Church, north of the City. The service finished at 1pm and all 50 guests were provided with take-away meals packaged up in gift bags. The wedding party enjoyed a traditional Nigerian meal on-the-go, including jollof rice with chicken served with salad, along with gizdodo (gizzard and plantain), moi moi (made from black-eyed peas), and poundo yam with vegetable soup. Graduation – Anu Yusuf in her cap and gown outside Symphony Hall, before receiving her LLB Law from Birmingham City University Graduation – Anu Yusuf in her cap and gown outside Symphony Hall, before receiving her LLB Law from Birmingham City University All meals were prepared by friends and members of Anu’s church, and drinks were brought by her husband’s pastor from Liverpool, whose wife also made their cake. Anu added: “My husband and I created a notepad with our names on the front as a ‘thank you’ present for our guests to go in to all the gift bags, so along with all the food, the bags were quite bulky!” Following a bite to eat, Anu quickly changed from her wedding dress in to another outfit and headed back in to Birmingham city centre for 2pm to collect her cap and gown before receiving her first-class degree.
Half of the wedding party accompanied Anu to Symphony Hall, although she was only allowed the maximum four guests into the actual ceremony, including her husband and two uncles, who were both wedding witnesses. Family members unable to sit inside the actual hall remained outside where they finally had time to enjoy the take-away wedding meal. By 5pm, the graduation ceremony had come to a close and all Anu and Joseph’s guests were on their way home. “I’d be lying if I was say it wasn’t a relief to get to the end of the day, but I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. It was so special to have my family and friends present for not one, but two of the most significant milestones in my life, and being able to share it with them all is something that I will treasure forever.” As well as her Law degree, Anu has supported her studies with part-time work at Birmingham City University, including a role most recently in the International Office there as a Marketing and Communications Assistant. Parmila Murria is Assistant Director in Birmingham City University’s International Office. She said that Anu was at work just two days before her wedding, so her team gave her a suitable send off. “Because she was so far away from her friends and family, and had little time to get everything ready, we decided to ease her nerves and have a little celebration of our own. We surprised her with a traditional English afternoon tea, complete with cucumber sandwiches and little cakes. “None of us could quite believe that two days later she would be getting married and graduating all on the same day, but we were so happy for her and are really proud.” Anu hopes to further her studies by embarking on a PhD in Law and her husband is studying in Bradford at LIFE Church College. ABIA GOV POLLS: PDP begs court to nullify Ogah’s CoR

By Anayo Okoli UMUAHIA—The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has filed a suit at the Federal High Court Abuja, against Uche Ogah and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, seeking the nullification of the Certificate of Return issued to Ogah by INEC on the grounds of false statement, stressing that the election that produced the governor of Abia State in the 2015 election was the April 25 election and not the April 11 election which INEC declared inconclusive. Ikpeazu and Ogah Ikpeazu and Ogah PDP, which said that the Certificate of Return issued to Ogah is null and void and of no effect, is also seeking an order of perpetual injunction restraining Ogah and his agents from parading the invalid certificate of return issued to him by INEC and from being sworn in on its basis in respect of the inconclusive election of April 11th, 2015.
The party further argued that Governor Ikpeazu contested and won the Abia State governorship election held on April 11 and April 25 2015 as the candidate of the PDP, and was sworn in as the elected Governor of Abia State on May 29, 2015. Originating summons In the originating summons filed by Dr. Paul Ananaba, SAN, counsel to the PDP, the party among other issues for determination, is asking the court to answer the following questions: “Whether the information on the Certificate of Return dated 28th of June , 2016 and issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to Dr. Sampson Uchechukwu Ogah on the 30th day of June, 2016 stating that Dr.Sampson Uchechukwu Ogah of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been elected to the office of Governor of Abia State at the election held on the 11th day of April 2015 is false since INEC declared the governorship election of that date inconclusive. That was saying that no conclusive governorship election was held in Abia State on the 11th day of April, 2015 and no candidate of PDP or of any other political party at the said election including Dr. Sampson Uchechukwu Ogah was ever returned as elected at the said election declared as inconclusive by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC. “Whether the election into the office of the governor of Abia State held on the 11th day of April, 2015 was declared inconclusive and whether a certificate of return can be validly issued to Uche Ogah by INEC based on the inconclusive governorship election conducted by INEC on the 11th day of April, 2015.” No conclusive governorship election on April 11, 2015 The party also argued: “That there was no conclusive governorship election held by INEC on the 11th day of April, 2015 and return of any candidate as elected to the office of Governor of Abia State to warrant the issuance of the certificate of return dated 28/6/2016 by INEC to Uche Ogah as having been elected to the office of the Governor of Abia state at the election held on 11th day of April, 2015.” It will be recalled that the Abia State chapter of the PDP had called for investigation and probe of the certificate of return issued to Ogah by INEC, describing it as invalid and erroneously issued. The State Publicity Secretary of the party, Chief Don Ubani, who addressed the press in Umuahia said: “The party, hereby, recollects that the governorship election of 2015 in Abia State came in two phases, that of April 11 which was declared inconclusive by the electoral body and that of April 25 which conclusively declared and confirmed Okezie Ikpeazu as the Governor-elect of Abia State; “That Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s certificate of return is a product of the elections of April 11 and April 25 of 2015, as properly reflected on the certificate of return. “The party vehemently rejects the Certificate of Return erroneously issued to Mr. Ogah for, among many other reasons, the enormous fact that it failed to reflect the fact that the governorship election took place on two different days” Source: http://www.vanguardngr.com

Kaduna Govt. to make Kagoro hills world-class tourist site — Commissioner

Kaduna – The Kaduna State Government said on Monday that it plans to make Kagoro hills a world-class tourists site, as part of efforts to improve the state’s revenue base. The Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Dr Shehu Adamu, stated this in an interview in Kaduna. Adamu said that Gov. Nasir El-Rufai had visited the hills located in Kaura Local Government Area of the state and made a commitment to develop them, like Obudu hills in Cross River. “The governor has directed that a contract for the access road to the hills be awarded between now and the end of the year. “We have already entered into discussion with Julius Berger to design and build the access road,” he said.
The commissioner disclosed that the government had identified other sites for development into tourists’ sites. Adamu said that Matsirga Waterfalls and Gen. Hassan Katsina Park (Gamji Gate) had been ”pencilled down” for development. “Matsirga Waterfalls, which is about two-kilometre drive from Kafanchan in Jema’a Local Government Area, has the potential to be a huge revenue earner for the state.’’ The commissioner added that state-owned hotels and motels in the state would also be developed to international standard, to meet up with the demand of tourists. “We are trying to improve the tourism sector by ensuring that hotels in the state are fully developed. “We want to advertise and concession state hotels and motels so that developers can take over and develop them. We have given notices to that effect. “We are doing all we can to make Kaduna State great.” Sourcet: http://www.vanguardngr.com/

Heavy Armed Military Storms Bayelsa And Delta To Stop N’delta Republic Declaration

News Tension: Heavy Armed Military Storms Bayelsa And Delta To Stop N’delta Republic Declaration sparkman August 2, 2016 No Comments army56 The military on Monday trooped to Boro Town, Kaiama, in Kolokuma-Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State and strategic locations in Delta State over threats by militants to declare the Niger Delta Republic. The militant group, Adaka Boro Avengers, had earlier said it would declare the republic and open its headquarters in Kaiama, the country home of late Ijaw freedom fighter, Major Isaac Adaka Boro. The intimidating presence of the military, it was learnt, forced the militant group to cancel the planned declaration slated for August 1.
The late Boro, before the Nigerian Civil War in 1966, formed the Ijaw Volunteer Force, an armed militant group with members consisting mainly of his fellow Ijaw ethnic group. They declared the Niger Delta Republic on February 23, 1966 and gallantly battled the federal forces for 12 days before they were finally routed by the superior firepower of the Federal Government. Boro and his compatriots were jailed for treason but he was later released and made to fight for the Federal Government against Biafra during the civil war where he died in mysterious circumstances defending Nigeria’s unity. Kaiama is also famous for the 1988 “Ijaw Youth Council Declaration” where youths drawn from over 500 communities and 40 clans met to deliberate on the best way to ensure the continuous survival of the indigenous peoples of the Ijaw ethnic nationality of the Niger Delta within the Nigerian state. Residents of Kaiama confirmed the movement of troops to the community and said it started on Saturday, July 30, with a stop-and-search operation on vehicles moving along a section of the East-West Road. The people of the community reportedly went about their normal business unmolested, though they were said to be panic-stricken at the presence of fierce-looking soldiers and other security forces. A resident of Kaiama, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said there was no major incident apart from the ubiquitous presence of security operatives. The resident, who is from the family of the late Boro, said the military presence was to forestall any breakdown of law and order and also to make sure that nobody took advantage of the situation. The spokesman for Operation Delta Safe, Lt. Col. Olaolu Daudu, could not be reached his reaction as his mobile phone indicated it was switched off. However, the Minister of Defence, Gen. Mansur Dan-Ali, had on Friday said the military was ready to do anything to make sure Nigeria remained one. Ijaw leaders had before the planned declaration on Monday by the ABA sent a strong message to the militants not to declare an Independent Niger Delta Republic, saying that the militants were on their own. The warning was part of a communiqué after a consultative meeting of Ijaw leaders hosted by its national leader, Chief Edwin Clark, where they noted that what the people of the Niger Delta wanted was true federalism. Meanwhile, the ABA, in a statement, said it had cancelled its declaration of a Niger Delta Republic, saying the decision was not based on selfish interest. The group had applauded former President Goodluck Jonathan for his move to stop the declaration that was earlier fixed for Monday, August 1. The group, in a statement through its spokesman, ‘General’ Edmos Ayayeibo, had ordered the Yoruba and Hausa out of the Niger Delta region. It also called on the Niger Delta people to return home for the declaration. The statement partly read, “We received calls from prominent leaders, like Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Mrs. Ankio Briggs, Chief E. K. Clark and especially King Alfred Diete-Spiff, calling on the freedom fighters to abort their mission to declare the Niger Delta Republic. “We adhere to the voice of our people, because our struggle is for the Niger Delta people and not for selfish reason. But this is not the end. More is yet to come. “Our mission to cripple the economy of the Nigerian nation will not stop until the Nigerian government is ready to sit on a roundtable to dialogue and to restructure Nigeria.” Also, armed military personnel comprising various security outfits on Monday mounted different strategic locations in Delta State following threat by the Adaka Boro Avengers to declare Niger Delta Republic on August 1. This is even as the militant group has announced that they had aborted the proposed declaration following appeals made to it by former President Goodluck Jonathan, Ijaw foremost leader, Chief Edwin Clark, King Alfred Diete Spiff among others. One of our correspondents observed on Monday that armour carriers and military vans were deployed to various locations in case the aggrieved Ijaw youths made good their threat to declare a ‘republic’ for the Niger Delta people. A senior military officer who spoke with our correspondent on a condition of anonymity disclosed that they were keeping watch on the activities of the militants as they were ready to combat them. The military including army, navy and police were seen mounting surveillance in the communities of Burutu, Ughelli, Patani, Warri, Effurun and Warri South West local government areas of Delta State. But, in a statement issued by the spokesman of the group, Edmos Ayayeibo, said they had aborted the declaration because of the intervention of prominent Ijaw leaders including ex-President Jonathan. It however reiterated its earlier warning of the group determination to cripple the nation’s economy until President Muhammadu Buhari shows a sincere desire to dialogue and restructure the country. ABA, which is also an affiliate of the dreaded Niger Delta Avengers, also warned the Federal Government against entering dialogue with the defunct MEND if the government wants peace in the oil-rich region. He said, “We adhere to the voice of our people, because our struggle is for the Niger Delta people and not for selfish reason. But this is not the end. More is yet to come. Our mission to cripple the economy of the Nigerian nation will not stop until the Nigerian government is ready to sit on a roundtable to dialogue and to restructure the Nigeria. “We received calls from prominent leaders like Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Mrs. Ankio Briggs, Chief E. K. Clark and especially King Alfred Diete-Spiff calling on the freedom fighters to abort their mission to declare Niger Delta Republic. “Unless that, we will not stop until Nigeria becomes a zero economy. We are also saying this for the benefit of President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigerian government to stop wasting their time with those greedy fellows that call themselves MEND because nothing good will come out of them rather than sabotage.” The statement added further, “Everything they are saying, not even one will be accomplished. We will never agree with anything they say and henceforth MEND should watch their back because we have tolerated them for a very long time. “Enough is enough, since they want to set confusion in the Niger Delta we will start from them.” Source: http://www.sparkblognews.com
