Don’t Blame PMB’s Govt For Nigeria’s Problems – Opara
BY Andrew Essien
The leadership of Peoples Mega Party (PMP) said that even though the administration of President MuhammaduBuhari has to give answers to issues of the country, it however must not be blamed in the myriad of problems bedevilling the nation adding that the rot inthe nation is traceable to the 16-year-rule of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).They further stated that it was under the PDP administration that the existing refineries were operating below optimal level neither was any new one built just as unemployment became the order of the day and no concerted effort was made to check the trend. The National Chairman of PMP, Chief PerryOpara said these while briefing the media o in Abuja, adding that the PDP government ran the country a bazaar.Opara said: “Yes! To an extent, the presentadministration needs to provide answers to these myriads of questions. I must say at this juncture that the Buhari administration must not take the blame alone.“The PDP should take a larger chunk of theblame. For 16 years, they refused to build refineries, they could not repair existing ones to perform on optimum capacity. PDP government ran Nigeria like a bazaar.”He added that the PMP is poised towards opening the political space for young people who are credible and popular, not necessarily moneybags, so that the dividends of democracy can be accessed.
